5th Tuesday Session Information

A few times a year, there are five Tuesdays in the month and on these nights, we do something a bit different. Depending on the particular month, we may choose a topical theme for that evening, for example if close to Melbourne Cup day, it may be a horse racing theme.

Participants may present a song, poem or yarn. If presenting a musical item you may perform it yourself or if you wish, have others join you. You are also welcome to simply come along and just listen.

We invite you to provide a music score or lyrics and chords by mid afternoon to the sessions coordinator. It will be uploaded to our website so other participants, can access it and if appropriate, play along. Usually there is time for one item only per person, but occasionally, there may be time for a second item if you wish.

To cover hall rental and other costs, there is a small charge of $6 for VFMC members and $7 for non members, paid at the door (cash or card).
