Australia celebrates Wattle Day on the 1st of September each year.
The VFMC has been acknowledging the celebration for several years. On the 1st Saturday of September we have run a series of workshops on various folk song, music, dance and poetry subjects. We conclude the day of celebration with our regular 1st Saturday family colonial dance, usually featuring the live music of "Blackberry Jam".
